fights and epic battles. All members of Carnivale Sword Play have extensive and continuous training in the art of Stage Combat to ensure safety and knowledge  of the most current systems of technique.  Live theater is an

ever-evolving art that needs constant study and adaptability.  Not only do our members teach at both the High School and Collegiate level, but they host and attend international workshops that invite instructors from all over the world to teach their various styles to ensure a world knowledge of this specialized art. 5:30 PM - 8 PM

Ages 12+

Audition Masterclass featuring Q & A.

Class format to include a vocal coaching session from Phoebe Koyabe (PLEASE PREPARE A 32 BAR musical selection and bring the sheet music for your selection)

About Phoebe:

Phoebe Koyabe is currently playing the role of "Alana Beck" in the First National Tour of Dear Evan Hansen.

Phoebe Koyabe (Alana) Born in France and raised in the US, bi-lingual Phoebe has been homeschooled most of her life.  At the age of 9 her mom presented her with a choice of learning pages in books or doing theatre. Luckily she picked theatre… and that was the beginning of a love story.

Like all love stories, it was a little complicated. At one point there was heavy flirting with dance… Phoebe danced full time for a few years but realized that she missed singing.

As a teenager, Phoebe captured the French nation’s heart when the judges of The Voice turned their seats for her stunning rendition of the Etta James classic “Something Got A Hold On Me.” She went all the way to the finale, narrowly missing out on the title. But she missed dancing…

At the age of 14 she realized that nothing would take the place of musical theatre, the only place where she fills complete. She has been since working to become a triple threat musical theatre actress.
