A Thousand Cranes
March 31 - May 30, 2008
The true and poignant story of Sadako Sasaki, a young victim of the Hiroshima atomic bomb disaster. She was only two years old when the bomb fell and seemed to be unharmed, but at twelve she was diagnosed with "radiation sickness" – an aftermath of the bomb's effects. With boundless optimism, she takes an old story to heart: If a sick person folds a thousand paper origami cranes, her wish will come true and she will be well again. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Coretta Scott King and the Fight for Freedom
January 17 - March 6, 2009
Born in Alabama, Coretta Scott King overcame childhood adversity in the segregated South and attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. A talented singer, she would go on to play an integral role in the American Civil Rights Movement, not only as the wife of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., but as an independent woman. The woman behind the man, Coretta continues to be an inspiration to the nation and the world.
